Artist Bio

Vicki Liles Gill, the founder of Bluegill Pottery, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1979. With a lifelong passion for art and a desire to master various techniques, Vicki has honed her skills in pottery-making, experimenting with texture, color, and design. Her inspiration comes from nature, Oriental prints, and designs created during the Arts and Crafts Movement.
