Who We Are
Mental Health Connection (MHC) of Tarrant County believes in the power of collaboration to strengthen mental health across our community. We are a diverse coalition of over 70 member organizations and individuals committed to revolutionizing the mental health service system through long-term systemic changes and addressing emerging needs.
Our Origins
In 1999, following the devastating Wedgewood Baptist Church shooting linked to untreated mental illness, community leaders came together to address the gaps in mental health services.
