Our Mission

At INTUIT Dance, we are dedicated to developing life-long lovers of dance. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive dance education that explores, trains, performs, and creates. We welcome students of all skill levels and offer a range of dance styles to express ideas and emotions. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer, our classes are designed to foster growth, creativity, and self-expression.

About Us

Established in 2004 by Artistic Director Diane VanDerhei, INTUIT Dance was created to teach the full spectrum of the creative process through dance. Our studio offers classes for recreational and pre-professional dancers, as well as adult dancers. Our philosophy is centered around the concept of "Body, Energy, Space, Time, " emphasizing the importance of awareness, movement quality, and expression. We are proud members of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and the Illinois Dance Education Organization (ILDEO).

Services Offered

Our services include recreational and pre-professional dance classes for children and adults, performance opportunities, and private lessons. We also offer studio rentals for teachers and choreographers. Our experienced instructors provide foundational training in technique, improvisation, and choreography. For adults, we offer a range of dance styles and levels, from beginners to professionals. Whether you're looking to improve your dance skills, perform, or simply enjoy the art of dance, we have something for everyone.
