Shasta Cascade Health Centers

We are Shasta Cascade Health Centers, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center group serving south Siskiyou County. Our organization was founded in 2000 when Mary "Bunny" HearstIves opened the McCloud Healthcare Clinic to serve a community lacking basic medical care. Since opening on August 1, 2000, we have expanded to three health centers in McCloud, Dunsmuir, and Mount Shasta. We provide comprehensive primary care, dental services, behavioral health, chiropractic care, podiatry, diabetes education and treatment, and lab services. Our clinics offer annual physicals, sports and school physicals, wellchild checks, pediatric healthcare, and annual/seasonal immunizations. We also provide womens health, family health, telemedicine, and specialist consultations for partnership patients.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we receive HHS funding and hold Federal Public Health Service deemed status for certain healthrelated claims. We are exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, making donations taxdeductible. Medical insurance is not required to receive care; we offer a sliding fee discount program based on income and family size. Our mission is to deliver quality health care services in an environment that is friendly, compassionate, and caring.
