At Fairfield Federal Credit Union, we are proud to have been serving the Jefferson County community for over 65 years. Our credit union was established in 1958 by International Paper Mill employees with the goal of providing a cooperative financial institution owned and controlled by its Members. Today, we are a thriving financial association with over 11,000 Members, offering a wide range of convenient, money-saving products and services to individuals, families, and businesses in Jefferson County and beyond.

Our History

Fairfield Federal Credit Union was established in 1958 by International Paper Mill employees. In 2007, we reshaped our long-range vision and set a goal of becoming the credit union of choice in Jefferson County and beyond. To achieve this goal, we expanded our membership eligibility to include the entire community of Jefferson County, which means everyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or owns a business in Jefferson County - including immediate family members - are eligible to join.
