Our Story

Delicate Creations was born in January 2013 by Deborah Church, a single mother of three children. Deborah started making cupcakes to bring in income after she was unexpectedly laid off from her job as the Director of Career Services at an Allied Health School in Northern Virginia. Despite having no formal training, Deborah's talent and dedication have grown the business into a successful venture with locations in Atlanta and Woodbridge, VA. Delicate Creations has been featured on Food Network Cake Wars, Praise 103.9, The Stellar Awards, and WUSA9 news, among others. We've had the privilege of designing custom cakes for notable figures and institutions, including New Edition, Roland Martin, Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, and even the White House.
