The Winery At Bull Run

Established in 2012, The Winery at Bull Run is a scenic working farm vineyard situated on 225 acres adjacent to Manassas National Battlefield Park. Our winery was built to represent the historic barns of Northern Virginia, blending a smaller 1800s-style barn with a larger 1920s-era dairy barn. This unique blend of history and modern winemaking techniques allows us to craft fine Virginia wines while paying tribute to the land's rich heritage.

Our passion for history led us to create the largest working farm in Fairfax County and salvage the old stone foundation of the Hillwood Mansion, now used as an altar and elevated stage for outdoor wedding ceremonies and events. The Hickox Family, our farmers and proprietors, bring a deep understanding of the land and its history, dating back to the 19th century. With roots in Connecticut and Georgia, our family has always been drawn to the outdoors, farming, and preserving the natural beauty of the land.
