Welcome to North Country Surveying, Inc., located in Siren, Wisconsin. We have been continuously owned and operated by Douglas R. Crane, Professional Land Surveyor, and Diane Crane since 1979. We are licensed to provide all types of Land Surveying and Mapping services in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Our commitment is to providing quality Professional Land Surveying and Mapping services. We achieve this through superior personal service, application of our knowledge and extensive experience, innovative solutions, thoughtful planning, and stewardship.

North Country Surveying, Inc. is a unique company offering a wide variety of services with our diverse and capable employees. Besides being a full-service surveying and mapping company, we offer numerous other services. We are a 60% Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB - Federal) and meet the requirements for DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise for WisDOT) and WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) in the State of Wisconsin.

Our business was started on October 1, 1979, and we have acquired extremely valuable experience by working continuously since that time. We have continued to be leaders in our profession with our work in the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors and membership in the National Society of Professional Surveyors. We have continued to keep up with the latest technology in both our office and field equipment.

Key Personnel

Diane L. Crane serves as the President and Co-Owner of the company since October 1, 1979. She is responsible for administration, financial and accounting, purchasing, CAD mapping, and job/project contracts. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Douglas R. Crane is the Vice President and Co-Owner of the company since October 1, 1979. He is a Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor and a Minnesota Professional Land Surveyor. Douglas is responsible for job and project administration duties, final boundary analysis, final map content, and professional commitments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Douglas has received the 2015 Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors Presidents Award of Appreciation for Dedicated Service and the 2015 Northwest Chapter of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors Distinguished Service Award.
