Yoga Oasis is a sanctuary for discovering inner peace and harmony. Our mission is to guide individuals towards deep well-being, with a strong emphasis on providing high-quality yoga services. Drawing from a rich tapestry of Eastern wisdom traditions and Western modalities, we offer a diverse range of healing practices that cater to physical, emotional, and mental health.

Our services include postures (asana), breath exercises (pranayama), yoga nidra (deep relaxation art), and meditation. These are offered through private coaching, both online and in-studio, as well as during workshops and retreats. Recognizing that a healthy lifestyle encompasses proper nutrition, Yoga Oasis educates clients on healthy, nutritious eating habits, including Cultured / Living Foods and periodic Detoxification protocols.

At Yoga Oasis, we strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where individuals can explore a life-enhancing path, either individually or as part of a community. Our workshops and retreats often involve a blend of yoga practices, such as posture, breathing, and guided meditation, as well as creative engagement in nature or through the use of collage materials. This unique approach allows participants to visualize and manifest desired changes in their lives.

To accommodate the needs of our diverse clientele, we offer a variety of online workshops and courses for those who are constantly on the move or prefer self-paced learning. Our founder, Debbie Mathew, is dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools they need to cultivate contentment and spiritual uplift in a secular manner, thus fostering an environment for personal growth and transformation.

Meet Debbie Mathew, Owner of Yoga Oasis

A devoted yoga practitioner and guide, Debbie Mathew has made yoga her life's work. With a deep understanding of anatomy and the physical aspects of the body, Debbie has undergone extensive training and continues to further her education, ensuring her students receive the best guidance possible.

  • 2011 - 500 hour (RYT-500) Yoga Integrative Therapy Teacher Training with Joseph and Lillian Le Page
  • 2010 - 60 hour Yoga Therapeutic Training with Aadil Palkivala
  • 2008 - Experienced ERYT-200 (over 1000 hours of teaching completed, plus regular training upgrades)
  • 2008 - iRest with Richard Miller; Level 1 Yoga Nidra Training. 42 Advanced CEU hours
  • 2005 - Opened 'The Yoga Space', downtown Laramie, WY
  • 2005 - 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification = RYT 200 through Yoga Alliance
  • 2003 & 2004 - studied Pranayama with Sarasvati Buhrman at RMIYA
  • 2003 - began teaching yoga professionally

In addition to her yoga training, Debbie has also completed an online course in Mudras & Astrology with Sabrina Mesko (2017) and the IYT 800 hour Integrative Yoga Therapy certification (2015-2016).
