Welcome to the Nevada County Association of REALTORS, a private not-for-profit trade organization. Our purpose is to provide programs and services that elevate and promote the knowledge and expertise of REALTORS. Our members, directors, and officers adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and are among a professional group of local, state, and national real estate professionals. Our staff's goal is to provide the most professional and congenial service to members and the public.

Our organization and its members offer a higher standard of service in the industry, the most current information on local, state, and national economies, professional development opportunities, and legislative advocacy at the local, state, and national levels. We strive to enhance services, education, and advocacy while adhering to the Code of Ethics and promoting fair housing.

Here's Our Story: The Nevada County Association of REALTORS was first organized in 1935 by a group of local real estate agents who aimed to provide a resource and opportunity for Nevada County real estate agents to work collectively. We became affiliated with the California Association of REALTORS in 1936 and later the National Association of REALTORS in 1948. From humble beginnings to our current facility, our organization has grown to over 700 REALTOR and AFFILIATE members, offering a wealth of real estate resources including education, advocacy, community partnerships, and state-of-the-art technology, tools, and services.

Our goals include higher levels of communication and engagement, adherence to the Code of Ethics, enhancing services, education, and advocacy, and promoting fair housing. We believe in fostering a community of professionals who share a commitment to ethical practices and providing exceptional service to clients.
