At Moonlight Beach Surf Camps, we are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and high-energy environment for our students to learn to surf and improve their surfing skills. Our team of exceptional surfers and surf coaches has years of experience in the ocean, and we are committed to giving our students the highest quality surf coaching.

Our Services

We offer a variety of surf camps and programs for kids aged 9-17, including our Summer Surf Camps, Spring Break Surf Camps, Fall Break Surf Camps, Winter Break Surf Camps, and After School Surf Programs. Our week-long surf camps are structured around ocean safety, skill development, surfing techniques, surfing etiquette, and having fun. We provide soft surfboards and expert instruction, with a reassuring instructor-to-student ratio of 1:3.

We also offer private surf lessons for individuals or small groups, as well as group surf lessons for up to 6 students. Our private surf lessons provide personalized instruction and attention, while our group surf lessons offer a fun and social surfing experience with like-minded individuals.

Our Focus

At Moonlight Beach Surf Camps, we are passionate about teaching kids the skills and knowledge they need to surf safely and confidently. We emphasize ocean safety, including how to spot potential hazards, understand rip currents, and stay within your depth comfort zone. We also focus on developing technical surfing skills, such as paddling, wave selection, popping up, and foot placement.

Our Team

Our instructors are all experienced surfers and surf coaches who are certified in CPR and First Aid. They are passionate about teaching kids the skills they need to become confident and competent surfers. Our team is dedicated to creating a fun and supportive learning environment that encourages kids to push themselves and reach their full potential.

Our Location

We are located at 215 West D Street, just two blocks from Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California. Oursurf shop is conveniently located near the beach, making it easy for students to attend and participate in our surf camps and lessons.
