Your Trusted Partner for Residential Recycling Services
Green Village Recycling was founded on Earth Day 2010 with a mission to address waste management challenges in Middle Tennessee. Our vision has always been to make recycling more accessible to residents of Hendersonville and surrounding areas, helping combat landfill capacity issues while promoting environmental sustainability. Over the years, we have remained committed to this mission, expanding our reach while maintaining customer-friendly practices and exceptional service. In 2024 alone, we successfully diverted an estimated 266 tons of recyclable materials into reusable products.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are focused on growing our positive impact beyond recycling through strategic partnerships with local programs, small businesses, and charitable organizations. Our team is dedicated to providing premier recycling services while actively supporting community initiatives that matter most. We invite you to join our Green team and help keep our community clean and sustainable through our convenient curbside recycling program.

Services
Residential Recycling
Our residential recycling program provides twice-monthly curbside collection for households in Sumner, Robertson, and Springfield. Each customer receives a 96-gallon recycling cart with clear guidelines for acceptable materials including paper, plastic, cardboard, aluminum, and metal cans. This service helps residents reduce landfill waste while promoting environmental sustainability through material reprocessing.
Community Partnerships
We actively collaborate with local programs, small businesses, and charitable organizations to enhance community sustainability efforts. These partnerships help expand our environmental impact beyond basic recycling services while supporting local initiatives that align with our mission of creating cleaner, more sustainable communities through collective action and shared resources.
Material Sorting Guidance
We provide comprehensive guidance on proper material sorting to ensure effective recycling. Our program clearly defines acceptable materials like paper, plastic, and metals while specifying non-acceptable items such as glass, food waste, and plastic bags. This education helps maintain recycling quality standards and maximizes the amount of material that can be successfully repurposed rather than ending up in landfills.
