At Study Smart Tutors, we believe in the power of education to shape the future. We are a team of passionate educators dedicated to promoting educational equity, access, and success. Our mission is to collaborate with partners that share our vision of fostering growth through education, supporting first-generation individuals to overcome infrastructure challenges and become influential leaders in their communities.

We understand that every student deserves an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances. This is why we offer a diverse range of tools for students, families, and educators, including educational experts, technology, training, and curriculum that aligns to the unique strengths of first-generation students and those who serve them.

Our team is comprised of TIO and GEAR UP alumni, first-generation professionals, and experts in college access and retention. We have provided tutoring, college preparation, and enrichment programming for thousands of students and families who might not have otherwise received it, preparing them for college, career, and lifelong success.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services designed to support students, families, and educators. These include:

• Student Workshops: Prepare your students for college entrance exams, careers, and life outside the classroom with our interactive and engaging workshops.
• Family Workshops: Engage families with interactive and engaging workshops in English and Spanish, helping them understand the importance of education and how they can support their children's academic success.
• Staff Training: Prepare your staff to lead virtual tutoring, advising, or enrichment with our specialized training programs, equipping them with resources to help build students' academic and critical thinking skills through virtual support.
• Grant Assistance: We provide specialized grant-writing and program evaluation services to TRIO and GEAR UP programs across the nation, helping you secure the funding you need to continue your important work.
• Tutoring: Create a customized tutoring or intervention plan for your students with our expert tutors.
• Media: Engage students and families in new ways with our multimedia experiences, including podcasts and fully animated videos.

Our Partners

We have had the privilege of working with over 150 TRIO partners, 25 GEAR UP partners, 180 schools and district partners, and 35 non-profit partners. We believe in the power of collaboration and are always looking for new partners to help us achieve our mission.
