Our Founder
As a seasoned educator, Michael Hirsch has an impressive educational background. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and was a product of the Newton Public School system. Michael graduated with Honors from Stanford University in 2006, double-majoring in Creative Writing and History. As a junior, he was selected by Oxford faculty to participate in Stanford's prestigious Overseas Studies Program at Oxford University, where he learned the craft of writing from some of Oxford's finest instructors.
As a dedicated educator, Michael has spent years working as an educator at Lydian Academy, a private high school in Menlo Park, California, renowned for its innovative approach to 1-on-1 instruction. Michael's responsibilities included teaching AP English and AP History courses, directing Lydian's after-school tutoring program, and developing Lydiana's college counseling services. Michael's passion for education is evident in his dedication to creating customized academic plans for hundreds of students and helping them achieve their scholastic goals.
