When you choose ACE Solid Waste, you are partnering with a company that has been deeply rooted in the community for over 60 years. Our journey began in 1955 under the determined hands of Don Hedtke, a local boy who returned from the Korean War seeking a new direction. Driven by hard work and a vision for reliable service, Don, along with his brother and a friend, established ACE as a solid waste management company. For the next three decades, they meticulously built a reputation for dependability and dedication, establishing an unwavering commitment to serving the local community.

In 1992, Andy and Tim Schweizer, recognizing the foundation of excellence built by ACE, took the helm, inheriting a company with a history of integrity and customer satisfaction. The company had grown to include 25 garbage trucks and a loyal customer base of 25,000, serving a vibrant and expanding community. Understanding the value of investing in people and processes, the Schweizer brothers poured their energy and resources into solidifying ACE's position as a leader in the solid waste industry.

Today, as a proud member of the Waste Connections Company family, ACE continues to call Ramsey home. Our fleet has expanded to over 60 trucks, and we proudly serve an even larger community of over 85,000 customers.
