Our Team

At Tease Barbershop, Salon & Spa, we pride ourselves on our talented and dedicated team of professionals. Each member of our team has extensive education and experience in their respective field, ensuring you receive the best service possible. From our skilled barbers who specialize in classic men's cuts, to our talented hairstylists who can transform your look with a new color or style, we've got you covered.

April Benson, our owner and barber, has been in the industry since 2002. She started her career as a hairstylist but found her true passion for barbering after moving to Wisconsin Dells. She opened Tease Barbershop, Salon & Spa in 2011 and has been building a strong and loyal client base ever since.

Cassie Lauden, one of our talented stylists, graduated from the Salon Professional Academy in 2011. She worked as a stylist for five years at Metropolitan before joining our team. Cassie specializes in blonding and extensions and is constantly looking for new ways to grow and evolve as a stylist.

Adam Schmidt, our experienced hairstylist, has been in the industry for over sixteen years. He studied abroad in Germany under some of Europe's top stylists and specializes in haircuts on all hair types, color, and blowouts. Adam is dedicated to staying relevant by educating himself on today's new techniques and trends.

Athena, our stylist and colorist, has been in the industry for seven years. She is a certified Pravana Colorist and has attended multiple workshops all over the Midwest. Athena specializes in balayages, fashion colors, and any and all blonding services, as well as textured haircuts.

Joey Buetel, our passionate barber, received his education at The Salon Professional Academy. He specializes in almost everything, including fades, beard sculpting, classic men's cuts, women's short textured cuts, bobs, and long layered cuts. Joey is a lover of cooking/baking, animals, and a wine and espresso enthusiast.

Taylor Anderson, our colorist and hairstylist, began her professional hair career in South Florida. She graduated from The Hair Design Institute and worked at a local salon while building her own wedding hair business. Taylor specializes in balayage color and modern blonding techniques and is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
