Koco Child Care Center

At KOCO (Kids of Chatham Organization), we are a not-for-profit child care center dedicated to providing quality child care to families in East Hampton, CT, and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children from 8 weeks to 12 years of age.

Our History

KOCO was established on March 15, 1988, as a tax-exempt, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Over the years, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our community, expanding our services to better serve families. Our current facility, built in 2019, provides a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Philosophy

At KOCO, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a personalized approach to learning. Our curriculum is designed to facilitate hands-on learning through active play and exploration. Our experienced and caring staff work together to create a welcoming environment that fosters a sense of belonging and prepares children for success.

Programs

We offer a range of programs to cater to the diverse needs of our community. Our Under 3 programs support infant and toddler development, while our Preschool programs prepare children for kindergarten readiness. We also offer before and after-school care, school holiday care, and summer camp programs.

Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp is an exciting and interactive experience that extends our regular school year programming. We offer a variety of activities, including visitors, field trips, club activities, crafts, games, and more. Our experienced staff ensures that children have a fun and balanced summer.

Our Staff

At KOCO, we pride ourselves on our dedicated and experienced staff. Over 70% of our full-time staff have worked with us for over 7 years, and five staff members have been with us for over a decade. Our staff are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to our children.
