Meet Our Owner

Ellen Bartolozzi, the owner of Bella Angel Music, is an award-winning teacher and performer with almost 30 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music from DePaul University, with an emphasis in piano, voice, and composition. Ellen is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Illinois Music Association, National Association for Music Education, National Association of Professional Women, and Music Teachers National Association, where she earned her certification as a "Nationally Certified Teacher of Music."

Ellen has worked with students of all levels and ages, from 5 to 76, and some of her students have gone on to audition for America's Got Talent, The Voice, La Voz Kids, ChiArts, Porchlight Music Theater, Marriot Lincolnshire, and more. She specializes in playing and singing for weddings and has earned a 2012 "Bride's Choice Award" and 2014, 2017, & 2020 Couples' Choice Award from the WeddingWire.com Network, placing her among the top 5% of wedding professionals in her field.

Ellen is also a published songwriter and has been a member of ASCAP since 1991. In 2009, she received the 2009 Studs Terkel Humanities Award for her contributions to the Arts and Community.
