The Lee Lund Studio of Dance, voted #1 Dance Studio in Milford by the New Haven Register Reader's Choice Award, is a family-owned and operated dance institution that has been dedicated to providing professional, personalized dance instruction to the Milford community since 1983. Our team of highly experienced teachers, all of whom possess teaching degrees and/or professional dance experience, is committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of their age or level, comes away from our studio with a love for dance and a set of unforgettable memories.

Our Services

At the Lee Lund Studio of Dance, we offer a wide range of services designed to meet the needs and interests of all our students. Our instruction covers various dance forms, including jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, theater production, and hip-hop. We cater to students as young as two years old and offer classes for adults as well.

For students who wish to pursue dance on a more serious level, we have the Lee Lund Dance Companies, which offer advanced training and performance opportunities. Our annual Steppin' Out Recital allows all students to showcase their skills and achievements.

Our Team

Our faculty is made up of a diverse group of talented and experienced dancers, choreographers, and teachers who are passionate about sharing their love for dance with our students. Our team includes:

• Ambere Rogers: A faculty member at Dance New Amsterdam, NYC, Ambere has performed in numerous productions, including the U.S. 1st National Tour of Mamma Mia!, the Off-Broadway production of Fame, and various regional productions. She has also performed with esteemed New York choreographers such as Diane MacArthy and Kevin Wynn.
• Debi Paserelli: A BFA in Dance from the University of Bridgeport, Debi has performed professionally with Philadanco and various dinner theatres. She has been teaching and studying dance for the past 14 years throughout CT.
• Lee Lund: The founder and director of the Lee Lund Dance Studio, Lee has an impressive background in dance and performance, having performed on television, film, and Broadway. She has studied with renowned institutions and choreographers and has performed with notable figures such as Andy Williams, Sonny & Cher, and Bill Cosby.
• Dennie Kirkpatrick: Educated at American University in Washington, D.C. with the Jose Limon Dance Company, Dennie has an extensive background in dance, education, and business. She has performed with various companies and has been instrumental in the success of the Lee Lund Dance Studio.

Our Classes

We offer a variety of classes for students of all ages and levels. Our curriculum is designed to provide strong classes with a coherent structure, allowing students to integrate disciplines and improve their technique. Our classes include:

• Tiny Dancer (22 MONTHS - 2.5 YRS): Children are taught to explore basic motor skills through movement, music, and the use of props.
• Intro To Dance (3 YRS): Children perform more challenging and complex movements while becoming comfortable dancing on their own.
• Pre-Ballet Jazz(4 -5 YRS): The curriculum focuses on exploring the child's own creativity while adding an introduction to basic ballet and jazz techniques.
• TEENS: Our renowned Child/Teen Program was established in 1988 and has become an integral part of Lee Lund Studio. Our approach provides strong classes with a coherent curriculum that encourages students to integrate disciplines to improve their technique.
