Our History
Land Recovery, Inc. (LRI) was formed in 1977 following a decision by the Pierce County Board of County Commissioners to privatize the County's solid waste disposal system. Since then, we have grown to become one of the best landfill and recycling operations in the Pacific Northwest. In 2001, we became Pierce County Recycling, Composting and Disposal, LLC dba LRI.
