Our Story

Sams Auto Sales emerged from humble beginnings in 1987 as Air View Sales, focusing primarily on the sale of pickup trucks, beds, and rust-free parts. Over the years, we evolved into a full-fledged retail lot offering on-site service and repair. In 1994, we officially changed our name to Sams Auto Sales and moved to our location on US 27 North in Decatur, Indiana. For 14 years, we specialized in selling newer model off-lease vehicles.

After serving our community for over two decades, we realized that the majority of our customers were specifically requesting us to help them find particular used vehicles. This surge in personal requests led us to reassess our strategy and dedicate ourselves entirely to becoming "Your Personal Car Shopper."
