First Presbyterian Preschool

At First Presbyterian Preschool of Bel Air, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop. Our experienced and caring staff are committed to providing a high-quality early childhood education that fosters spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is centered around the belief that each child is uniquely created and deserves the freedom to grow, learn, and develop at their own pace. We believe that family is the first and most significant arena for education, and our preschool experience is intended to be a resource for, and an extension of, this primary relationship. Our primary objective is to offer children a loving, Christian atmosphere that will guide their learning experiences as they discover more about themselves and the world around them.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to meet the needs of children from 3 to 5 years old. Our programs include the 3's Program, Young 3's Program, PREP Program, AM 4's Program, and Kindergarten Readiness Program. Each program is carefully planned to enhance the learning and growing of each individual child in a pleasant and creative way. Our programs are designed to be engaging, interactive, and fun, with a focus on promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Our Services

In addition to our programs, we offer a range of services designed to support the needs of our families. These services include Registration and Tuition, Lunch Bunch, and Community Outreach. We are also committed to providing ongoing support and resources for our families, including Parent Testimonials, Process - Not Product, "I'm Just Playing" Parents as Good Role Models, and Student Forms.

Our Achievements

We are proud to be a "Letter of Compliance" Preschool through the Maryland State Department of Education/Office of Child Care, and we are rated a Level 3 in the Maryland Excels Program. This voluntary Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) recognizes our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
