Southlands Foundation

The Southlands Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a connection to the community and cultivating respect and love for the land and its animals. We strive to educate adults and children in horseback riding, horsemanship, and the skillful care of horses. Our 200-acre property offers horse stables, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and horse show opportunities. We also open our trails to the public for miles of walking or riding.

Our mission is rooted in the historical legacy of Deborah Dows, who founded the organization with a 300-year tradition in mind. We aim to preserve our land for future generations while providing a haven for those seeking a connection with nature and its creatures. Our programs include boarding and training, riding lessons, Mommy & Me camps, and nature camps. We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds to join our community and support our preservation efforts.
