Welcome to MCA Gymnastics, a state-of-the-art gymnastics facility located in Byron, NY. We opened our doors in September 2012 and have since grown to serve over 200 students in the Genesee County area. Our mission is to encourage social development, promote physical, emotional, and mental wellness, and inspire each and every youth to do their best through the sport of gymnastics.

MCA Gymnastics is a proud member of USA Gymnastics and is committed to providing high-quality instruction for all age groups and experience levels. Our experienced instructors are certified by USA Gymnastics and are dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for all students. We are the only fully equipped, dedicated gymnastics facility in Genesee County, and we are conveniently located just off of Route 33, only 7 miles from Batavia, NY.

Our 8,600 square foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art gymnastics equipment for all ages. The gym is heated in the winter, making it the perfect place to train year-round. We offer a variety of classes, including recreational gymnastics, team gymnastics, tumbling, and more. We also offer birthday parties, camp days, private clinics, and fun nights for specific age groups.

Class Descriptions

At MCA Gymnastics, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and experience levels. Our recreational classes are designed to introduce students to the world of gymnastics and help them develop strength, flexibility, and motor skills. Our team gymnastics classes are for students who are interested in competing at a higher level. We also offer tumbling classes for students who want to focus on flips and tricks.

In addition to our regular classes, we offer a variety of special events and programs. Our birthday parties are a popular choice for parents looking for a fun and unique party experience. We also offer camp days during school breaks, private clinics for students who want extra practice, and fun nights for specific age groups.

Rules

At MCA Gymnastics, we have a few rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students. Only registered participants are allowed on the equipment, and all siblings must stay in the designated area. Food and drinks must stay in the waiting area, and appropriate attire is required. Long hair must be pulled up in a ponytail, and no jewelry is allowed. Socks are not to be worn in the pit, and all shoes must stay in the waiting area. Students are required to stay with their instructor and listen carefully. Walking feet must be used at all times, and the bathroom should be used before class. Gum is not allowed.

Appropriate Attire

Students should wear comfortable clothing to class, such as sweatpants, leggings, shorts, leotards, or t-shirts. Jeans or anything with snaps and buttons are not allowed, as they can scratch the bars. Socks are permitted, but not recommended for use on the tumble track or in the pit. We do not suggest wearing dance tights or any other tights, as they can be slippery and make it difficult to spot students. Students in Level 3 and higher are required to wear leotards.

Making Up Classes

If a student misses class due to illness, a school function, or a conflict, they are allowed to make up the class by attending another class at their skill level. Please arrange this with the instructor or front desk staff prior to attending the make-up class.

Bad Weather

In cases of bad weather, MCA Gymnastics will close if there is a driving ban or state of emergency. If classes are canceled, a make-up day will be determined. We will post cancellations on Facebook, send out an email, and announce them on WBTA.
