Born and raised in Leelanau County, Captain Bill Winowieicki has been fishing since he was strong enough to hold a cane pole. Times have progressed since then, but the excitement and experience are still the same. Bill Winowiecki is a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain.

At Watta Bite Charter Fishing, we offer the ultimate sportsman adventure and fun for the whole family. We've been fishing Lake Michigan for over 20 years, launching out of Glen Arbor, Michigan, near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Our charters are designed to provide an exceptional experience, with early morning and afternoon trips available. We use a 22-foot DNR-inspected Campion Explorer, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for all.

Our services include guided fishing trips, where we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment and tackle. We'll even clean your catch at the end of the trip, making sure you have everything you need for a memorable day on the water. With our expertise and knowledge of the best fishing spots, you're guaranteed to have a great time and catch some impressive fish.
