Our Story

Tony's Italian Deli & Subs has been serving Chicagoans authentic Italian flavors and hospitality since 1978. Founded by Vito and Maria Dalmazio, Sicilian and Abruzzese immigrants respectively, our family-run business has become a beloved destination in Edison Park for its dedication to traditional recipes and genuine Italian charm.

Vito and Maria, with the help of their daughters Jennifer and Josie (now co-owners) have meticulously cultivated an environment that embodies the warmth and richness of Italian culture. From our freshly baked bread to our homemade sauces simmering in old copper pots, every ingredient and every dish is infused with generations of family tradition and passion.
