At Family Psychiatric Care, our team of dedicated nurse practitioners is committed to providing you with exceptional medication management services and personalized therapy interventions. We understand that seeking help for mental health concerns can be challenging, and we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all of our clients. Although our clinic services primarily focus on medication management, we are more than happy to refer you to a local therapist to ensure you receive the comprehensive care you need.

We believe that mental health is a vital component of overall well-being, and we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their mental health goals through collaboration and compassion.

Our Team

Our team at Family Psychiatric Care is composed of highly skilled and experienced nurse practitioners who are passionate about providing compassionate and effective care.

  • Shauna Richardson, MSN, RN, APNP, WHNP-BC, PMHNP-BC: Shauna has been a nurse practitioner since 2000, with a background in women's health and psychiatric mental health. She is dually certified as a women's health and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and treats both adults and children ages 6 and up. Shauna believes in a collaborative approach to mental health treatment, emphasizing the importance of therapy in conjunction with medication management.
  • Alyssa Skalitzky, MSN, RN, APNP, PMHNP-BC: Alyssa has been a nurse practitioner since 2009 and is certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has experience as an instructor for the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program at Alverno College and Rush University. Alyssa treats clients ages 6 and up and believes in balancing clinical expertise with care, compassion, and understanding. She encourages clients to participate in therapy and medication management for the best outcomes.
  • Tilly Burroughs MSN, RN, APNP, PMHNP-BC: Tilly has a diverse background in nursing, including cancer treatment, emergency services, surgical, cardiac, and mental health care. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and treats clients ages 10 and up. Tilly believes in a holistic approach to mental health care and strives to create a safe, compassionate environment for her patients.
  • Alexandria Dattilo, MSN, RN, APNP, PMHNP-BC: Lexi has a background in both long-term care and mental health nursing. She treats clients ages 6 and up and especially enjoys working with children and adolescents. Lexi encourages a shared decision-making process and believes in the importance of therapy in conjunction with medication management.
  • Margaret Erdman, MSN, RN, APNP, PMHNP-BC: Margaret has a background in both social work and nursing. She treats clients ages 6 and up and enjoys working with children and adolescents. Margaret takes a holistic approach to mental health care and believes in the importance of therapy in achieving long-term benefits.
  • Christine Turcotte, MSN, RN, APNP, PMHNP-BC: Christine has a background in both labor and delivery and mental health nursing. She treats clients ages 6 and up and emphasizes the importance of a strong patient-provider relationship in mental health treatment.

Our Services

At Family Psychiatric Care, we offer medication management services and brief therapy interventions for a variety of mental health concerns. Our services include:
