Our Milwaukee-based studio utilizes the latest in digital technology to create outstanding visual content for marketing, branding, and communications needs. Our team, led by Glenn Thiesenhusen (a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with 35 years of experience) and Peggi Thiesenhusen (communications specialist and studio production manager), brings decades of expertise to every project. We have the capability to work both in our state-of-the-art studio space or on location, adapting to each client's specific requirements.Our expertise spans from initial concept development through to final execution, working closely with talented stylists and assistants to bring our clients' visions to life. We've recently expanded our offerings to include 360 product photography, professional testimonials, product demonstrations, stop motion, and story clips to meet evolving market demands. Celebrating our 25th anniversary as co-owners, we continue to approach each day with passion and dedication to our craft. Glenn is a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design with a BFA in Photography and over 35 years of experience in commercial photography. He brings technical expertise and creative vision to every Blue Moon Studio project.

Peggi serves as communications specialist and studio production manager at Blue Moon Studio. With extensive experience in business operations, she contributes creative direction and ensures smooth execution of every photography project.

Glenn Thiesenhusen, our lead photographer, has over 35 years of experience and a BFA in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. Together, our co-owners have 25 years of experience running Blue Moon Studio.
Can you work on location or do you only shoot in the studio?
We offer both studio and location photography services. While we have a state-of-the-art studio space, we're fully equipped to travel for on-site shoots that better suit specific project requirements.
