North Cambridge Little Baseball League

At North Cambridge Little Baseball League, we are dedicated to providing a fun and supportive environment for children of all ages and skill levels to learn and grow through the game of baseball. Our mission is to facilitate learning opportunities that teach teamwork, develop self-confidence, increase discipline, and promote hard work while enjoying the game of baseball.

Our History

With a rich history spanning over 70 years, North Cambridge Little Baseball League has been a staple in the community, providing a platform for children to develop their skills, make new friends, and create lifelong memories. Our league is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, coaches, and board members who are passionate about baseball and committed to providing a positive experience for all participants.

Our Programs

We offer four programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to find their place in our league. Our programs include:

• Farm League: A non-competitive T-ball program for our youngest players (ages 4-6), focusing on fun, friends, and learning the basic rules and skills of baseball.
• Junior League: A non-competitive "Coach-Pitch" program for Farm graduates or older beginners, where players develop their skills and understanding of the game.
• Minor League: A semi-competitive program for 7-11-year-old players, where they develop their skills and learn the game of baseball in the context of gameplay.
• Major League: A competitive league for experienced and dedicated 10-12-year-old players, where they are evaluated by coaches and drafted onto teams.

Our Coaches and Sponsors

We are proud to have a team of experienced coaches, including Dave "Smitty" Smith, an expert private instructor with over 30 years of experience, and Kevin O'Brien of Sweet Swing Baseball, who provide top-notch instruction and guidance to our players. We are also grateful for the support of our sponsors, including BLOC CAFE, Cambridge Craftsman, and Iron Tree Service, who help us provide resources and opportunities for our players.
