Our Experience

Finnegan Aviation, LLC has a broad range of industry experience, particularly in international aviation safety investigation and risk management, Washington, D.C. advocacy in government regulatory and policy development committees, keynote speaking and aviation conference panel participation and moderation, domestic and international, civilian and military aircraft technical support, aviation journalism and technical writing, and winter operations flight line support and ground services. Our team includes experts with experience as the manager of air safety investigation for Textron Lycoming engines, as a field accident investigator at Cessna Aircraft Company, and as an accident reconstruction consultant and expert witness.

Our Leadership

Brian F. Finnegan, President/CEO of Finnegan Aviation, LLC, brings extensive experience in aviation safety to the company. He is currently under contract to PRI, an SAE International affiliate, as the Director of Professional Certification, overseeing the development and launch of a series of technical certifications which encompass a complete aviation maintenance career path, from entry level through advanced specialization and leadership competencies. Brian has also developed practical Emergency Response Plan Drill Exercises and presented safety awareness training for maintenance and flight crews. He served as the president of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) from 2000 to 2008, representing PAMA and its members in support of the professional interests of the individual aviation maintenance technician in the United States. Brian is an FAA-certificated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic and a Private Pilot, with an Aviation Maintenance Management degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
