Persad Center, founded in 1972, stands as a pillar of strength and understanding for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) individuals and those impacted by HIV/AIDS. We nurture a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can find support, resources, and guidance.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the well-being of the LGBTQ+ community and those affected by HIV/AIDS through outreach, prevention, counseling, and training services. We believe in:

How We Make a Difference
Through diverse services, we address various challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community:

- Prevention: We empower individuals to take charge of their physical and mental health.
