The Girl Behind the Lens

I'm Shanell, a wedding, boudoir, and portrait photographer serving East Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. I am a Certified Professional Photographer, awarded by Professional Photographers of America (PPA), a wife and girl mom, and a proud lighting nerd. I have a real soft spot for couples who struggle with infertility and a tendency to be a lighting nerd. I once shot a wedding on my due date. When I am not working, I like to travel, spend time with my kiddos, and attend photography workshops and conferences to further my education. I have had the honor of having images published in Shutter Magazine, Pink Bride Magazine (cover), and many wedding blogs.
