Our team of experienced trainers, led by Avery Crocker and Thomas Haynia, offer a variety of classes including group training, kids classes, private training, sparring, and semi-private training. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn the sport of boxing, or simply find a fun and challenging workout, we have something for everyone.
Our trainers are not only skilled in their craft but also passionate about helping others achieve their goals. From beginners to experienced fighters, we tailor our training sessions to meet the specific needs of each individual. We believe that fitness and boxing should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level, and strive to create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family.
Our Trainers
At Hill Street Boxing, we are fortunate to have a diverse team of trainers with a range of expertise and experience. Avery Crocker, our founding trainer and manager, is a Level One certified coach with USA BOXING. Courtney Wach, a certified NASM trainer, specializes in strength and conditioning. Thomas Haynia, our owner and co-founder, is also a USA Boxing Certified coach and is known for his high-intensity workouts at 5am. Alan Quinonez, known as the mitt-master, offers his expertise in mitt work, and Grant Keelan, a USA Certified Boxing Coach, manages our new Riverhead location. Neko Gettling brings his extensive background in martial arts to offer private and semi-private sessions. Colleen Glinton offers personalized stretching and strength and conditioning sessions, while Kevin Eras focuses on fight drills and combinations. Justin Mattera heads our fight team, and Doug Millano brings his energy and expertise to our kids program.
Our Services
We offer a variety of services to cater to different needs and goals. Our group training classes are designed for individuals who enjoy working out in a group setting. Kids classes are available for children aged 6 and up, offering a fun and structured way for them to learn boxing skills and stay active. Private training sessions are perfect for those who prefer one-on-one attention or need customized training. Sparring and semi-private training options are also available for those looking for a more intense workout or to improve their skills with a partner.
