Our Story

At Alexandar Massage Clinic & Day Spa, we take pride in being a locally owned, woman-led business that has been a part of the Tacoma, Washington landscape since 1979. Our commitment to providing exceptional therapeutic massage and day spa treatments has made us a beloved institution in the community. As a family-owned business, we've built a reputation for excellence, and we're dedicated to helping you relax, rejuvenate, and restore your body and mind.

Our History

Established in 1979 as part of Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics (ASNT), our clinic was initially staffed by supervised ASNT students applying their skills to real clients with real health problems. Over the years, we've expanded to include space for our instructional staff and ASNT graduates who became licensed massage therapists (LMTs). Today, our clinic continues to offer services by both supervised students and LMTs, many of whom are instructors or teaching assistants at ASNT.

Our Facility

Our massage clinic and day spa are co-located with Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics at 4026 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA. Our beautifully restored buildings, dating back to the 1920s and 1930s, feature 12 private treatment rooms, steam-room, Finnish sauna, Swiss shower, changing area, reception area, and outdoor break areas. Our unique treatment rooms are designed to provide a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, with most rooms being larger and more open than typical massage treatment rooms.

Our Services

We offer a range of therapeutic massage and day spa treatments, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and more. Our skilled therapists are trained to provide customized treatments tailored to your specific needs and goals. We also offer discounted massage and spa treatments by supervised students of the Alexandar Massage Program. Senior, Military, and Veteran discounts are available, and we're committed to making our services accessible to everyone.
