Our Story

Walnut Grove Cemetery, established in 1843, has a rich history and tradition of serving the community. As the first cemetery in Danvers to be designed as a memorial park, it has consistently embodied the park-like tradition with over 20 acres of walking trails and beautifully maintained natural scenery.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Walnut Grove Cemetery Board of Trustees is to operate as an integral part of the community, contributing to the beauty of the town and preserving its history. We are committed to offering a final resting place for the people of Danvers, MA, and others who have chosen to spend eternal life in Danvers. Our goal is to provide a beautiful, serene, and peaceful place for families and loved ones to visit, welcoming people of all backgrounds, faiths, and denominations.

Pre-Planning Services

Pre-planning your burial arrangements is one of the most practical and thoughtful decisions you can make for your family. Traditional Burial

Columbaria

Our columbaria are designed to provide a beautiful and peaceful place for cremated remains to be interred in above-ground niches. Each niche accommodates two urns, and our columbaria are enclosed in a landscaped garden, providing a quiet spot to reflect on the memories of cherished loved ones.
