Our Story

At Home Animal Hospital began its journey in 2008 with a vision of providing compassionate and convenient veterinary care to the pets of Maui. Founded by Dr. Danielle Dewey, the practice started as a mobile house call service, bringing much-needed healthcare directly to animals in the comfort of their own homes. This approach quickly resonated with pet owners, highlighting the importance of minimizing stress for both animals and their families during veterinary visits. Recognizing the growing demand for comprehensive services, Dr. Dewey and her dedicated team expanded the practice in 2011, opening a state-of-the-art animal hospital in Kahului.

This new facility allowed At Home Animal Hospital to broaden its scope, offering a complete range of veterinary services, from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to intricate surgical procedures, advanced diagnostics, and specialized care for various conditions. The expansion marked a significant milestone, consolidating Dr. Dewey's vision of becoming Maui's premier destination for comprehensive and compassionate pet care.
