Services Offered
At TSSA, we recognize the importance of continuous learning and development for coaches and players. Our coaching education programs offer opportunities for coaches to enhance their skills and knowledge. The ODP pathway provides premier player development opportunities, allowing players to advance to regional and national levels. Additionally, we host various tournaments, including the Tennessee State Cup and the Cleveland Grimes Friendship Cup, to provide competitive platforms for teams. The TSSA Indoor Leagues and the Juniors Development League (JDL) offer alternative formats for players to engage in the sport throughout the year.
State Cup and Leagues
The Tennessee State Cup is open to all member clubs and their teams, with matches played at competitive levels within three separate divisions. The State Cup has been hosted by TSSA since 1976. The Tennessee State League (TSL) is another competitive platform, now fully underway, with teams focused on reaching the TSSA State Cup this May. The Juniors Development League (JDL) provides an alternative format for younger players to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
Development Programs
TSSA is dedicated to player development through its ODP programs, which offer training and possible advancement to compete at the regional and national level. The TOPSoccer program provides opportunities for players with special needs to participate in soccer activities. Our Safe Soccer initiative emphasizes the importance of player safety and well-being.
