At Fluens Children's Therapy, we believe in empowering children with the skills necessary for better communication and increased independence, enabling them to have stronger, more meaningful relationships with their family, friends, and community. Our team comes alongside families to support children in reaching their full potential, creating a plan of action to accomplish these goals.

Our Mission Statement

Fluens (Latin) = flowing, streaming, pouring. We believe that as children are able to communicate and interact with others better, their ideas will flow more easily and enable them to have stronger, more meaningful relationships with their family, friends, and members of the community.

How We Help

Are you tired of telling your pediatrician you're worried about your child's development and being told "he'll grow out of it" or just "wait and see"? Do you feel like your kiddo understands everything you say but he gets frustrated cause he can't explain what he's feeling or needing? At Fluens, we know that a child's early years are the most formative time in life, so it's important to get them the services they need. Through our work with children and their families, our goal is to get them support quickly so they can move toward independence and functional skills for their everyday activities.

Our Services

We provide speech therapy (in-person and online) and occupational therapy (coming soon!) for kids ages 18 months to 18 years. Whether your child is facing delays in their development or you just want to ensure they are reaching their full potential, we offer a variety of services designed to support their growth and development.

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapy services are designed to help children improve their communication skills, whether it's through in-person sessions or online therapy. Our experienced speech-language pathologists work closely with children and their families to develop a personalized plan that addresses their specific needs and goals.

Occupational Therapy

Coming soon, our occupational therapy services will help children develop the skills necessary for daily living. From fine motor skills to self-care activities, our occupational therapists will work with children to enhance their independence and confidence.

Online Resources

Even if our weekly therapy schedule is full, we offer resources that parents can use right away to get some help for their kiddos, including parent classes, downloadable videos and worksheets, and free guides. We also have an active call-in list that families can use to schedule appointments when other clients cancel.

Our founder, Jessica Abawag, is a speech therapist for children who aren't quite speaking as clearly as they should. With years of experience and a passion for helping children reach their full potential, Jessica leads our team of dedicated professionals.
