Ace Catering, a well-renowned name in the catering and banquet industry, was established in 2001 in Whiting, Indiana. Initially started as Portside Grill and Catering, the company changed its name to Ace Catering in 2002. Over the past two decades, Ace Catering has been providing families with unforgettable and affordable banquet and food experiences.

Ray Kosinski, the founder of Ace Catering, began his journey in the food industry by making pizzas and catering small events. His passion for food and service grew, leading him to adopt 14 banquet halls in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area. Each hall has its unique charm and amenities, making them the perfect venue for any event.

We have a diverse selection of 14 banquet halls and venues, each offering a unique experience. Our halls can accommodate gatherings of various sizes, from intimate gatherings to large events with up to 700 guests.

• Gino's Banquet Hall, located in Hobart, IN, boasts a capacity of 700 guests and offers multiple halls, a comfortable bridal room, and a private bathroom.
• St. Elijah Event Center in Merrillville, IN, is tastefully designed with classical architectural elements, plush carpeting, coffered ceilings, and versatile lighting moods.
• The Cloister in the Woods, located in Munster, IN, is a hidden gem with large arched windows, white lights, and a private patio offering views of the Cloister courtyard and Bieker Woods.
• Lincoln Center Banquets in Highland, IN, can accommodate between 50 and 300 guests and offers one room that can be split into two.
• The Dean & Barbara White Community Center in Merrillville, IN, is an 84,000 sq ft recreation/event center perfect for sporting or social events.
• Whiting Lakefront Park Pavilion, located in Whiting, IN, is an ideal covered venue for birthday celebrations, graduation parties, weddings, and bands.
• Woodland Park in Portage, IN, has a capacity of up to 600 guests and offers three separate halls.
• Inmans Recreation Center in Valparaiso, IN, can accommodate up to 700 guests and offers two indoor rooms and one outdoor area.
• Knights of Columbus #1696, located in Whiting, IN, has a capacity of up to 250 guests and offers one room.
• American Legion Post #697, located in Lansing, IL, can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers one room.
• Butterfield Family Pavilion, located in Valparaiso, IN, is a 5,000-square-foot building with a seating capacity of 250, ideal for wedding receptions, graduation parties, group meetings, and entertainment needs.
