Polonia Catering, a family-owned business since 1964, is one of the leading caterers in the Chicago area. Located in Mokena, Illinois, we take great pride in our high-quality food, reasonable prices, generous portions, and professional staff. Our History

Polonia Catering's proud family tradition began when Chuck and Marge Machay purchased Polonia Ballroom, Grove & Lounge. Originally known as Polonia Grove, it was the premier destination for Polka bands throughout Chicago until 1978. In 1979, the Machays decided to close the Grove and completed a major renovation of the hall, renaming it Polonia Banquets.

In 1994, the family expanded their operations with a second location in Tinley Park, Illinois. After serving the south suburbs for 10 years, the Machay family decided to close the Tinley location and opened Polonia Catering & Market in Mokena in 2004. Today, Polonia Catering continues to be based on family values and traditions, offering unparalleled customer service, quality, and attention to detail.
