Our Artists

Cherish: Cherish is the owner and master stylist of Crystal Skull Studio. She has been a licensed cosmetologist and specialized curly specialist for over a decade, with a passion for creative cutting and craft color. Cherish has established herself as a leader in the industry, with extensive experience in curly hair, fashion color, and barbering courses. She continues to pursue education and collaboration with local artists and community organizations, driven by the idea of connecting with local businesses and supporting the vibrant ecosystem within the city.

Cassandra: Cassandra is a non-binary stylist based in Ypsilanti, MI. They graduated from the well-known Douglas J Aveda institute of Ann Arbor and specialized in cutting, coloring, and styling curly hair. With a passion for continued education and growth, Cassandra has completed several months of curly education and classes. Cassandra excels in short hair clipper cutting and creative color of all kinds. They strive to make each client feel like the best possible version of themselves, catering to their lifestyle, personality, and personal hair care routine.
