Since our humble beginnings in 2010, we have grown to become Central Pennsylvania's largest CrossFit facility, and we owe it all to our incredible members. Our diverse group includes doctors, lawyers, carpenters, engineers, students, nurses, athletes, and many more. What unites us is our common goal of bettering our minds and bodies. We are a team of individuals who never quit and are always willing to lend a helping hand. We pride ourselves on our camaraderie, coaching, programming, and facilities. Our Services
At CrossFit 717, we offer a variety of services to help you achieve your fitness goals. Our primary service is CrossFit, a high-intensity workout program that combines elements of cardio, weightlifting, and gymnastics. Our workouts are constantly varied, which keeps things exciting and prevents plateaus. We also offer personal training, which allows you to work one-on-one with a coach to achieve your specific goals. Additionally, we provide CrossFit Fundamentals, a program that teaches you the fundamental movements of CrossFit, which is perfect for beginners.
Meet Our Team
Our coaches are the backbone of CrossFit 717. They are skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Our team includes:
- Dwight Sheehan: Dwight is the owner of CrossFit 717 and has been coaching since 2010. He is a CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids certified coach. His favorite movement is GHDs, and his favorite WOD is Acid Bath. Dwight loves coaching because it allows him to share his passion for CrossFit with others.
- Lisa Latchford: Lisa is a CrossFit Level 1, Running Coach, Body Weight Training, and Group Fitness/Bootcamp certified coach. Her favorite movements are pull-ups and push-ups, and her favorite WOD is Cindy. Lisa loves coaching because she gets to help athletes accomplish their goals and be an inspiration to others.
- Brandon Phelps: Brandon is a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach. His favorite movement is power cleans, and his favorite WOD is Amanda. Brandon loves coaching because it allows him to tap into other athletes' mindsets and help create an environment that makes them feel welcomed and ready to be pushed.
- Austin Hoover: Austin is a CrossFit Level 1, Level 2, and CrossFit Rowing certified coach. His favorite movement is double-unders, and his favorite WOD is Open Workout 12.1. Austin loves coaching because it allows him to help people reach their goals and become a more well-rounded athlete and person.
- Jeff Baltimore: Jeff is a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach. His favorite movement is snatch, and his favorite WOD is Grace. Jeff loves coaching because it allows him to watch people reach their goals, improve, and hit PRs.
