Bakersfield Jet Center by Loyd's Aviation is the only full-service Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) at Meadows Field in Bakersfield, California. We were founded in 1958 and have built a reputation for the best service in the region. We are dedicated to going above and beyond for our valued clients. Our History

Loyd's Aviation was established in 1958 by Byron E. Loyd in Bakersfield, CA. An entrepreneur at heart, Byron wasn't afraid to take risks and worked to grow the fledgling company until 1993 when he retired, and his son Steve took over. Today, Bakersfield Jet Center (BJC) by Loyd's Aviation is the premier full-service FBO in the region and encompasses nearly 30 acres at the KBFL airport dedicated to the safe and efficient operation, storage, fueling, and handling of military, cargo, commercial, and general aviation aircraft.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services including FBO Services, Aircraft Management, Aircraft Charter, Maintenance, Aircraft Part Sales, Storage, and Aircraft Sales. Our FBO Services include refueling for 100LL and Jet-A, 24/7 On-call fueling and ground service, GPU service, oxygen service, aircraft cleaning and detailing, lavatory service, hangar storage, and aircraft towing. We also provide pilot services such as flight planning room with PC's and printer, crew car, AvTrip points, pilot lounge, and WiFi access. For passengers, we offer complimentary beverages and snacks, fax machine and copier, and concierge services including hotel reservations, restaurant reservations and catering, entertainment bookings, car/limo rentals, and discounted rates on hotels. Additionally, we have an executive conference room available.

Aircraft Management

Managing and maintaining an aircraft can be a challenging and time-consuming task. As a result, Loyd's Aviation has designed an Aircraft Management program that will allow you to enjoy the benefits of aircraft ownership while we manage the daily operations. Our program allows you the freedom from the day-to-day administrative, regulatory, and operational complexities of owning an aircraft. All you need to do is tell your scheduler when you would like to travel, and we will have your aircraft and crew ready and waiting.
