Our name derives from our focus on the design, engineering, and modification of military aircraft, with a specialization in the T-38 and F-5 series.

History of Innovation

Founded by Andrew Skow, a renowned aeronautical engineer, aerospace executive, and entrepreneur, Tiger Century Aircraft has a rich history of innovation. Skow is credited with developing advanced design technologies, including the Shark Nose forebody design of the Northrop F-5F and pioneering the development of passive and active Forebody Vortex Control.

Under Skow's leadership, Eidetics International, a prestigious aeronautical research and engineering company, developed several advanced technologies to enhance the agility and maneuverability of high-performance fighter and trainer aircraft, including the T-38 and F-16. Skow is also credited with developing advanced "Agility Metrics" that built upon the pioneering work of Col. John Boyd and Tom Christy.

T-38 Upgrade Plan

Our multi-staged T-38 Upgrade Plan has been implemented by both NASA and the United States Air Force, involving structural life extension, avionics and cockpit upgrades, escape system upgrades, and propulsion upgrades.

F-5A/B Upgrades

We've developed upgrade plans for several national air forces, including Canada, Turkey, Spain, and the Philippines, extending the life of F-5A/B fleets and introducing structural and limited avionics upgrades.

F-5E/F Upgrades

We've worked with numerous national air forces on upgrades of their F-5E/F fleets, including Taiwan, Singapore, Brazil, and Chile, introducing structural and systems modification kits for day or night refueling capabilities.

F-5 and T-38 Upgrades

Our expertise extends to offering upgrade services for the F-5 and T-38 aircraft, including structural life extension, avionics and cockpit upgrades, escape system upgrades, propulsion upgrades, and more.

Proprietary Systems

We've developed proprietary systems, such as our F-5 Aerial Refueling Kit, F-5 AIM-9M Carriage Kits, F-5 Agility Enhancement Kit, and F-5 Aerial Refueling Modification Kit, which have been certified by the USAF and are in daily operational service.
