Dr. Cavazos, a respected and dedicated physician in at-home care in San Antonio, has been practicing in the community for 43 years. He has been honored by his peers by being elected to many leadership positions, including president of the Bexar County Medical Society in 2003, founding president of the Mexican-American Physicians Association, chief of staff at Santa Rosa Medical Center, president of the San Antonio OB-GYN Association, and chairman of the Department of Surgery at Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical School.
