Our Episcopal Identity
As an Episcopal school, we are committed to upholding the values of the Episcopal Church, which emphasizes the importance of faith, compassion, and social justice. We believe that faith should be expressed in a daily life of prayer, service, and living out the values of Jesus Christ. Our Episcopal identity is rooted in the belief that all people are created in the image of God and are deserving of dignity, respect, and compassion.
Leadership and Faculty
Our leadership team is comprised of experienced educators who are dedicated to creating a student-centered learning environment. Our faculty is comprised of talented and passionate professionals who are committed to their students' academic and personal growth. We are proud to have a faculty with a range of expertise, with over 66% holding a master's degree or higher.

Complaints
Working conditions at ESD were described as poor by one reviewer, Andrea Lucia Holguin Aguilar, who gave the school a 1-star rating. They expressed feeling undervalued and treated unfairly, likening their experience to a form of modern-day slavery.
Positives
Several reviewers praised ESD, describing it as a "fantastic experience" (Grant Baldwin) that provided a strong sense of drive, leadership, faith, balance, connection, and family. Eight years after graduating, Matthew Enthoven credited the school with giving him a "fantastic foundation" for his adult life, and he highly recommended it. Jon Seals also praised ESD, calling it one of the best private schools in Dallas with a distinguished faculty.
