Beacon Financial, previously known as Mountain States Credit Union, was established with the primary objective of providing high-quality financial services to enhance the financial well-being of our members. We are committed to serving and promoting community development by offering financial services aimed at improving the social and economic conditions of our members.

Credit Union Membership

Beacon Financial Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution dedicated to providing exceptional financial products and services to current and former healthcare employees and their families. Eligibility for membership extends to employees, contract employees, and volunteers of Ballad Health or its subsidiaries. Furthermore, family members of the aforementioned individuals are also eligible for membership. This includes spouses, siblings, children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and step-relations. Additionally, membership is open to employees and family members of the following companies: Right Coast Medical LLC, Champion Chevrolet, Crowder RV, One Stop Wine and Liquor, and Wise Property Solutions.

To become a member, a minimum balance of $25.00 is required in your regular share (savings) account. However, we encourage you to take advantage of the various products and services we offer.

Identity Verification and Privacy Policy

In compliance with Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act, applicants for new accounts are required to provide current picture identification that verifies their identity, including name, address, and other identifying information. Additionally, a copy of work identification is necessary. In some cases, identification will be requested for current account holders if original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account.
