Located in the charming coastal village of Blue Hill, Maine, Blue Hill Bay Gallery is a renowned fine arts gallery that showcases the works of nationally-recognized and emerging artists. Our beautiful 1820 brick cape building provides the perfect backdrop for displaying a diverse range of mediums, representing the natural beauty of Maine and New England.

Our Services

At Blue Hill Bay Gallery, we are committed to promoting the appreciation and protection of wild creatures and places. Our gallery is open from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and on weekends thereafter. We feature an ever-changing selection of paintings by over 30 contemporary artists, as well as a large collection of historical Maine landscapes from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Our team, led by Gallery Director and photographer Peter LaFreniere, is dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional service and expertise. We offer a range of services, including virtual tours, online exhibitions, and personalized consultations to help you find the perfect piece of art for your home or collection.

Our Artists

Recent Acquisitions

We are constantly updating our collection with new and exciting pieces. Recent acquisitions include works by Paul Andre Eschbach, Edmond Petitjean, and Sears Gallagher, among others. Our collection spans a range of mediums and styles, from oil paintings to watercolors, and from contemporary to historical works.
