The Olive Space Psychiatry LLC is a private psychiatric practice based in Athens, Georgia. Our practice is built on a foundation of individualized care, recognizing that each person's journey to healing and recovery is unique. Our Philosophy
Our practice is led by founder and owner Dr. Issa P. Bagayogo, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist with training from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC and Rutgers University in NJ. Dr. Bagayogo specializes in the pharmacological management of psychiatric disorders, utilizing the most recent evidence and consensus-based approaches. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Our philosophy is centered around Dr. Bagayogo's expertise, ensuring that patients receive quality care based on extensive knowledge and experience.

Specialty Services
Dr. Bagayogo is an experienced Suboxone and Zubsolv (buprenorphine and naloxone) provider, offering Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence in the outpatient setting. We also provide MAT for alcohol dependence and nicotine dependence. If you are suffering from any of these conditions, please contact us to learn more about how MAT can help you regain control of your life.
Payment
The Olive Space Psychiatry LLC does not accept health insurance, granting us the flexibility to provide an exceptional standard of care for our clients. This includes a greater duration and frequency of appointments, as well as the ability to shape a highly personalized and adaptable treatment plan tailored for you. The fee for the initial consultation is $275, with follow-up appointments costing $275 per session. Payment is collected at the time of the session and we accept all major credit and debit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. If you have health insurance with out-of-network coverage benefits, you might be eligible for partial or full reimbursement. The Olive Space Psychiatry LLC will provide you with invoices for your sessions that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Your First Visit
Your first appointment with us is a consultation visit, during which we'll determine if The Olive Space Psychiatry LLC is the right fit for you. You'll meet with Dr. Bagayogo and discuss the issues distressing you, as well as establish treatment goals. If it's determined that our practice is suitable, a formal treatment relationship will be established, and an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs will be created. For adolescent clients, the initial assessment may require more than one consultation due to the need for additional information from parents, caretakers, and the school.
