Judo Training for All Ages in Palo Alto
At Palo Alto Judo Club, we believe in cultivating life skills through the disciplined practice of judo. Founded on the principles established by Professor Jigoro Kano, our program emphasizes the effective use of mental and physical strength to foster self-respect, perseverance, and confidence in students of all ages. Our dojo provides a structured environment where children develop grit and focus, adults enhance lifelong fitness at their preferred intensity, and teens find a constructive outlet for energy while learning valuable life lessons. With a proven track record of producing nationally ranked athletes, we offer both competitive training and non-competitive pathways tailored to individual goals.

Our affiliation with the Central Coast Black Belt Judo Association, United States Judo Federation, and USA Judo underscores our commitment to excellence. Through weekly practices held Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we welcome newcomers and experienced practitioners alike to experience judo's transformative benefits. Our instructors, recognized for their expertise, guide students in mastering techniques that promote composure, clear decision-making, and self-esteem within modern society's complexities.
